Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2025

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you use BlogPilot, we store the content you generate (blog posts), campaign settings, and platform connection configurations.

We do not collect payment information directly — paid plans are handled via our payment processor.

2. API Keys & Credentials

Any API keys you provide (AI providers, platform connections) are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored in our database. We never store API keys in plain text, and we never share them with third parties. Your keys are only decrypted in memory at the moment they are needed to make an authorized API call on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the BlogPilot service, send transactional emails (account confirmation, plan updates), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union / United States (depending on your region). We use industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

BlogPilot integrates with third-party platforms (Framer, WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Hashnode, Dev.to) at your direction. When you publish content, we transmit only the content you have chosen to those platforms using credentials you have provided. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms.

We use AI providers (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, etc.) with API keys you provide. Your content is sent to these providers to generate blog posts. Review the privacy policy of your chosen AI provider for how they handle your data.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@blogpilot.io. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days. You may also request a copy of your data at any time.

7. Cookies

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Your continued use of BlogPilot after a policy update constitutes acceptance.
