Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BlogPilot ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BlogPilot is a software-as-a-service platform that uses AI to generate blog content and publish it to connected platforms on your behalf. The Service requires you to provide your own AI API key; we do not provide AI access directly.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@blogpilot.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use BlogPilot to generate or publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or violates the terms of any connected platform. You may not use the Service to generate spam, manipulative SEO content designed to deceive readers, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
You are solely responsible for the content generated and published through your account.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content generated through BlogPilot. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of content you generate.
6. API Keys & Third-Party Services
You are responsible for your own API key usage and any costs charged by third-party AI providers or platforms you connect to BlogPilot. We are not responsible for failures, downtime, or policy changes by third-party services.
7. Billing & Plans
The free plan is provided at no cost subject to usage limits. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or take the Service offline for operational reasons. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlogPilot and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases and we may delete your data.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
